The DECA chapter at Midlothian High won multiple awards at the DECA State Leadership Conference, and two students qualified to compete in the DECA International Career Development Conference, which will take place in April in California. Around the globe, DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management.
Midlothian High students brought home these honors:
Mason C. finished first in the business finance series and qualified for the DECA International Career Development Conference. He also won medals for top scores in role-play 1 and role-play 2.
Will . won seventh place in the food marketing series and qualified for DECA International Career Development Conference.
Om P. won a medal for top score in the hotel lodging management series test.
Hannah L. won a medal for top score in apparel and accessories marketing series test.
