Betsy Marshall has been making a profound impact on students for well over 20 years. She is described by her fellow teachers as the most hardworking, kindest and knowledgeable teacher. She stepped in to temporarily serve as our school’s coordinator for special education. When offered a substitute teacher so that she could accomplish the tasks of coordinator for special education, Betsy declined, saying she could not afford time away from her students. One teacher shared that Betsy “taught me to become a better teacher, but more importantly a better person.”
